After I had to use Twitter and e-mail to get in touch with Philip Xenakis from the UK, to tell him he had actually won the Nokia 808 PureView in the “Creative Mode” contest, I was completely stunned to receive a reply (partly) in… Dutch.
It appeared Philip has a Dutch mother and was in fact in The Netherlands for Christmas. I swear: I don’t know Philip and I had no idea. But before returning to England, it gave him the fantastic possibility to pick up his Nokia 808 PureView at the Dutch PR Office of Nokia that offered me both 808′s for the contest.
Here is Philip and PR officer Stella Jansen. I couldn’t be there myself, so one of her colleagues was kind enough to share this shot with me. Once more, congratulations Philip, I’m sure we’re all looking forward to your results with the Nokia 808 PureView and you know I’m happy to share them at the club!
