As promised, here is the second part of Daniel Cheong’s incredible reality shots he shares on Flickr. Like I wrote in my previous post, on Twitter he regularly promotes these “Lumia 1020 High Resolution Samples” – and I asked him permission to share them all.
In the first post you can read how he works to get his fabulous results. In this part you’ll see some breathtaking shots from a magnificent mosque. I asked him which mosque it is, and what it means to him personally. He replied:
“This is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. This is one of the biggest mosque (8th largest mosque in the world). It is an amazing architectural achievement, unfortunately the shots I took do not do it justice. The interior is as spectacular as the exterior, it’s just a perfect subject for architecture lovers like me.”
Well, I guess it’s simply impossible to do an architecture like this justice with any camera – it’s just too beautiful. These are the shots Daniel Cheong realized with his Nokia Lumia 1020. You’ll find all the originals on Flickr.
I’ll be following Daniel Cheong closely, so no doubt there will be a part 3 some day :-)
